Welcome to Virus Protection @ USC!
Keep your computer safe against harmful viruses while
using the University network.
When USC faculty, staff and students are using the University
network, USC policy requires that all computers have antivirus
software installed. The University of South Carolina is replacing
existing antivirus software from McAfee to TrendMicro OfficeScan AntiVirus
Software. There are no additional charges in using this antivirus
software for University faculty, staff or students. For help in
downloading TrendMicro OfficeScan to your computer, please click
here.

Macintosh users will continue to use
the University-provided McAfee Virex protection. Macintosh users
do not need to switch their virus protection!!!
|

|
Students living on-campus are required to use antivirus
software in order to have access to the University network.
TrendMicro OfficeScan is available at no extra charge to all students.

TrendMicro
OfficeScan is available for
all students: Undergraduate, graduate, part-time, full-time. All
University-licensed software must be removed upon leaving the
University.
