USC VOICE MAIL: SERVICE FOR STUDENTS
University Technology Services offers Voice Mail service for USC students residing in University housing on the Columbia campus by request only through VIP.
Voice Mail service provides the following for student
subscribers:
- The Voice Mail system answers the subscribing student's
extension after a selected number of rings in the residence
hall room.
- The Voice Mail system answers the subscribing student's
extension with a pre-recorded greeting. (The subscriber
records their personal greeting when he or she initializes his or her
Voice Mail mailbox.)
- The Voice Mail system records the caller's message and
stores it for the Voice Mail subscriber in a private
mailbox.
- The subscriber's mailbox stores up to 10 messages.

To apply for Voice Mail service, log in to
VIP using your
USC ID number and PIN number and look under the Technology
tab for the online application.
To alter or cancel your Voice Mail service, please fill out
a Change of Service request. Email
helpdesk@gwm.sc.edu and
request this form from the Voice Mail Coordinator. The
form will be sent to you via email. Please print the form,
complete it, and return it in person to the Services Center
at University Technology Services, 1244 Blossom Street. Forms are also
available at the Services Center.
