USC VOICE MAIL: SERVICE FOR STUDENTS

University Technology Services offers Voice Mail service for USC students residing in University housing on the Columbia campus by request only through VIP.

Voice Mail service provides the following for student subscribers:

  • The Voice Mail system answers the subscribing student's extension after a selected number of rings in the residence hall room.
  • The Voice Mail system answers the subscribing student's extension with a pre-recorded greeting. (The subscriber records their personal greeting when he or she initializes his or her Voice Mail mailbox.)
  • The Voice Mail system records the caller's message and stores it for the Voice Mail subscriber in a private mailbox.
  • The subscriber's mailbox stores up to 10 messages.

For details on costs and other information, consult the Student Voice Mail Agreement for Service.

To apply for Voice Mail service, log in to VIP using your USC ID number and PIN number and look under the Technology tab for the online application.
