- This "Live CD" boots a version of the Linux operating system.
Run from the CD without installing, in order to add a high degree of
protection for your installed operating system and data while doing
risky computing (e.g. turning the kids loose to play games or surf
the net). Or install it (for advanced users only!) for long-term
access to the free (open source) operating system and large
collection of applications.

This variant of the Ubuntu version above includes much more
