The USC Enterprise Imaging System is a document and image management system which manages, shares, integrates and delivers critical business information. The system, composed of IBM's® Content Manager and Kofax® Ascent Capture (when applicable), provides a complete, integrated and comprehensive content management portfolio which will assist the university in improving productivity, enhancing responsiveness, and meeting the demands of regulatory compliance. This is accomplished by delivering quick and easy electronic access to all documents and images stored within the system. These documents may have many different media types including images, documents, reports, e-mail, web content, e-records, multimedia, computer report output and more and may be scanned into Content Manager using the Kofax Ascent Capture software or imported using the Content Manager desktop client or eclient.
