The iCARE Center is located at the Computer Services Center, 1244 Blossom (corner of Blossom and Sumter St.). Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time in order to setup your desktop/laptop.

During your session, technicians will be available to assist you with the following procedures to properly clean and configure your desktop/laptop.

• A virus scan will take place before any work is done on your desktop/ laptop
• Wired/Wireless configuration
• System Restore and Firewall configuration
• Virus Removal Complete
• Virus software installed and updated
• Run Spybot and Adaware SE
• Create a password for any account that has a weak password (a weak password can be found in the dictionary) or any account that doesn't have a password (especially the administrator accounts)
• Install Service Pack and RPC patch
• Install CleanAccess onto the computer if this is not installed
• Run a Nessus scan from the main computer in the lab
