University Technology Services offers data backup services to University of South Carolina colleges, departments, and organizations. Data can be backed up from either a server stored on your site, or in one the secure UTS Data Center (server service level agreement required). Standard storage is up to 100Gb, but can be tailored to your needs. All data backup services include:

• Incremental (daily) and full (weekly) backups, with weekly duplicates stored at a secure offsite facility (retention for 30 days)
• Daily backups done during off hours (6pm - 8am)
• Data backup reporting
• Performance monitoring, troubleshooting and routine/diagnostic services
• Data Restoration services at $75 per hour (minimum 1 hr. charge)

Data Backup services start at only $50 per month per server for up to 100 GB of data. Pricing is tiered depending on the amount of data space needed.

Standard storage is up to 512Gb, but can be expanded to your needs. All data storage services include:

• High speed fiber connections to storage servers, housed in the secure UTS Data Center.
• Tier One (frequent access) and tier two (archived) storage available at tiered pricing
• Data backup on incremental (daily) and full (weekly) schedule
• Performance monitoring, troubleshooting and routine/diagnostic services
• Data Restoration services at $75 per hour (minimum 1 hr. charge)
