Computer Systems Keeping your staff, faculty, and student lab computer systems running efficiently is key to productivity, administration, and communciations. University Technology Services offers comprehensive computer systems support for your organization. Our technicians have experience in working with a wide array of desktops, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, and other digital devices. We can also work with you to resolve issues with data security, computer performance, and interoperability with University systems and devices such as smart phones. The UTS Desktop Support Service Level Agreement provides you with comprehensive and competent technical support. It also helps you budget more effectively for technology services with fixed IT maintenance expenditures. Our technicians can service and provide regular scheduled maintenance on the following:

UTS Comprehensive computer support is only $25 per computer when you place your entire department or lab under our Service Level Agreement. Computer room personnel operate 24 hours a day/7 days a week. We work with various groups on such items as data communication problems, backbone problems, hardware and software problems. This group also maintains the Tape Library which houses approximately thirty thousand real and virtual tape volumes with a mixture of IBM type tapes and cartridges. This area is staffed on a rotating basis by the first shift Computer Room staff. |
