University Technology Services operates the University's cable television system, Gamecock Cable, for University buildings and residence halls along with maintaining and installing equipment for the University's broadcast television system.

UTS maintains 33 miles of cable television infrastructure. It delivers more than 125 channels of cable television programming to 43 residence halls with approximately 4000 individual rooms. Programming is delivered to 132 administrative buildings and more than 273 classrooms on the Columbia campus.
