Storage Area Network SLA Includes:

UTS can provide your IT systems with access to high-volume Storage Area Networks.

Enterprise applications need extended data storage capability. This service can provide high-speed, high-volume data storage, saving you expensive equipment purchases.
 

Tier One Storage:
	Best for data that is frequently accessed or is mission critical Fast, industrial-grade drives. High-speed search and retrieve system for I/O intensive applications.
Tier Two Storage:
	Best for standard access or historical data. Exceptional performance for standard data storage and retrieval.

Servers stored in the UTS facility access the SAN system through a high-speed Fiber optic system. This storage solution can ensure fast data access, and is recommended for Tier One storage.

Servers stored outside UTS and within the Columbia campus will access the SAN system through the University network. This solution is good for Tier Two storage. Servers outside of UTS or the Columbia campus will not be able to access the SAN system.
