  OPERATIONS SERVICES

Operations Services consist of Scanning, Microfiche distribution, OnDemand and Content Manager Support. Operations Services is staffed by four full time employees during the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Our office is equipped with a Scantron Clarity Scanner capable of optical mark recognition, optical character recognition and intelligent character recognition of a variety of forms. Scanning support is provided for class exams, teacher evaluations and various surveys. We have programs for various types of forms or can customize forms to meet your specific needs. We process approximately 25,000 forms a month for University staff and other state agencies. We charge users $.03 per sheet or a minimum of $3.00 per run for all forms processed at University Technology Services. Microfiche Services are no longer available with in University Technology Services. Our office processes and distributes current required microfiche reports from an outside vendor to the user.

OnDemand is a software package that enables users to control what they view or print from Production mainframe output from their desktop. The output is available as soon as the reports are created you will no longer have to wait for physical delivery of those reports once they are defined to OnDemand. Operations Services handles the programming, support and training classes for OnDemand. You can visit our web site for more information on OnDemand.

Content Manager is a software package that enables users to store and index images and other documents. This is accomplished by delivering quick and easy electronic access to all documents and images stored within the system. These documents may have many different media types including images, documents, reports, e-mail, web content, e-records, multimedia, computer report output and more.
